About Dahlia Days

Dahlia Days grew from a love of flowers, fabrics and the gentle art of making home feel beautiful.

I’m Nicky, and together with my husband Henry - whose photographs inspire every design - we create quality homewares and gifts printed with flowers from our own garden in the middle of a forest in East Sussex. After eighteen years running children’s handmade gift company nickynackynoo, and with our youngest now flown the nest, Dahlia Days is my new chapter: a celebration of colour, craft and comfort.

Each image Henry captures is transformed into fabric and made, here in the UK, into pieces designed to bring everyday joy — velvet cushions, cosy hot water bottles, napkin sets, tea towels, tote bags and pouches. Every detail matters: the feel of the velvet, the richness of the print, the usefulness of the piece.

We've started with Henry's favourite - and most photographed - flowers: the exuberant dahlia. But there will be more to come - roses, tulips and even some that aren't flowers at all!

At Dahlia Days, we follow William Morris’s simple truth — to have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. Our hope is that every item you choose will be both.
