FAQs

Have a question for Dahlia Days? Whether you want to know how Dahlia Days products are made or how your order will be packaged, you're in the right place. If you have an other questions please email me hello@dahliadays.co.uk

Where is Dahlia Days based?

The Dahlia Days studio is in the middle of an ancient forest in East Sussex, surrounded by trees and birdsong. Despite the thick Wealden clay, dahlias and roses grow particularly well here!

Do you make everything yourself?

All our fabric is printed in the UK. Cushions, hot water bottles and the various zipped pouches are all sewn by me. Kitchen textiles (napkins, tea towels) and tote bags are made by machinists in Manchester.

Can you make me something from photographs from my own garden?

This is something I've been thinking about. The truth is, I don't know yet, but if it's something you're interested in, get in touch and we can talk it through.

I love the idea of a range based on bridal bouquets. Watch this space!

When will I get my order?

I try to post things out within two working days. If you upgrade to Express Delivery I will prioritise your order and send it sooner.

If you need something urgently or for a specific date, please let me know.

My order hasn't arrived. What should I do?

Oh no! This really doesn’t happen very often. Let me know if your order is more than two days late and I’ll look into it. Often a nudge to your local delivery office can get your parcel out for delivery within a day or two.

Do you use environmentally-friendly packaging?

I’ve tried really hard to make sure that my packaging contains no single-use plastic.

Small items like pouches, napkins and tea towels are sent in a paper bag and a paper envelope.

Larger items are wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a cardboard mailing box.

Cushions are placed in a compostable bag (just to protect them from any water in transit) inside a compostable, reusable mailer. Our cushion inners are produced locally (a mile and a half away) and are made from recycled plastic bottles.

Gift wrap is acid-free recycled tissue paper.
